Abigail Sanders Named Western Art Academy Alternate

Upon winning the Scholastic Achievement Award from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art competition, Abigail completed the scholarship application process for the Western Art Academy Summer Art program in Kerrville, Texas. Abigail went through a rigorous evaluation process including an interview and a required portfolio of selected pieces to be presented at the interview. Out of 100 or more applications, Abigail was selected as Alternate, meaning she could have the opportunity to go if there is a cancellation. This art competition is the most competitive and challenging of high school art competitions in one of the largest cities in our country. We are immensely proud of Abigail and her ever-increasing talents that God has given her and the way she is making the most of them. Well done, Abigail!
