Athletics is a great tool to build Christian character, to teach discipline and to learn to face adversity and challenges with a steady eye, a courageous spirit and reliance upon the ultimate authority, Jesus Christ. Athletics is a form of worship and our number one goal is building men and women of godly character in our athletic programs.

2023 Seventh-Grade Bible Bowl

The last week of school, the seventh-grade Bible classes participated in the Third Annual Seventh-Grade Bible Bowl. The seventh-grade Bible curriculum covers all 66 books of the Bible, and what better way to end the year than to show off all of our Bible knowledge in a facts-based contest between the classes. Each of Mrs. Mynes' and Coach Bretz’s classes held an in-class round to determine who would compete in the final round in front of the whole grade.

Teams included: Group 1: Uriel Smith, Houston Davis, Brooks Johnson; Group 2: Amanda Atkins, Kira Farrington; Group 3 Chelsea Scott, Anastasia Harkless, Lauren Petrowski; Group 4: Regan Laidlaw, Pierre Maciel, Maddox Ahart; Group 5: Michelle Leyrer, Sarah Swan, Addison Wilhelm; Group 6: Lexington Stewart, Owen Layton, Ryan Scaife.

Runners up: Amanda Atkins and Kira Farrington. Winners were Chelsea Scott, Anastasia Harkless, Lauren Petrowski. Congratulations to all the teams on learning so much about God’s Word.
