2019 Kindergarten Bedtime Stories

Current and incoming CCS kindergarteners enjoyed our annual Bedtime Stories night on April 4, 2019. The evening opened with Principal Joy Bezner, dressed as Owen from the book by Kevin Henkes. Next, the children were dazzled by the lovely Mrs. Hroch, dressed as a sparkly fish and reading the book The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Roberts, dressed as a frog from the book I Don’t Want to be a Frog by Dev Petty, had all of the children giggling as she read how the frog didn’t want to eat yucky, slimy bugs. This was followed by a very stylish, Mrs. Lacaze, reading Edie is Ever so Helpful by Sophy Henn.

We’d like to thank Chick-Fil-A for partnering with us each year in donating cookies for this special event. A fun night was had by all!
