Cypress Christian School was honored to celebrate our students and their achievements throughout the year at our Fine Arts Gala on Monday, April 29. Students and their friends and families were invited to fellowship as we shared a meal together and watched performances from CCS choir and drama students. Attendees were also welcomed into an art gallery that celebrated our amazing art students, honoring their talents and achievements from the year.
Entertainment included choral performances and solos from our choir students, a couple of dramatic performances from our drama students, the induction of 13 members into Drama’s International Thespian Society and a Senior Recognition Ceremony where students were prayed over as they go on to the next chapter of their lives.
The evening was topped off with a performance by the CCS Show Choir and the announcement of the 2019/2020 drama season which will include These Shining Lives by Melanie Marnich for our Fall TAPPS One Act Play and Annie by Thomas Meehan for our Spring Musical, which will include all of our fine arts programs on campus.
Great job, students! We are so proud of your achievements this year and look forward to the coming school year.
