Campus Life Center and Gym
Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony
May 4, 2017
With nearly 1,000 in attendance, including former and current board members, students, current and former faculty and staff, alumni families, and one of the founders of our school, Cypress Christian School was blessed to dedicate the new Campus Life Center and Gym to our Lord Jesus Christ. It was such a blessing to see the joy on the faces of everyone as they walked through the new building for the first time. A verse that has been used to describe the efforts involved in this project was shared - "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." Psalm 127:1
A special thank you goes out to our prayer warriors and to the Advancing Excellence Capital Campaign donors for making this all possible.

Working Goal of $3.3 Million Exceeded
CCS Executive Director Stephen Novotny and Board President Chad Braun made the exciting announcement that the Advancing Excellence capital campaign working goal of $3.3 million was exceeded! Generous donors have given $3,325,000 in cash and pledges to build our Phase I Campus Life Center and Gym.
Campus Life Center and Gym
In the spring of 2014, Cypress Christian leadership retained the J.F. Smith Group - an independent fund-raising firm - to conduct a feasibility study to determine if the school's constituency would support several areas of opportunity to enhance the school. The findings showed that the majority enthusiastically supports the projects for the future and are in agreement with their necessity and value. Thus, we launched the Advancing Excellence capital campaign with a working goal of $3,300,000.
As mentioned at left, on August 14, 2015, the announcement was made that the working goal of $3.3 million has been exceeded.
Help Us Finish Strong
You can help us finish strong. Every additional dollar raised will reduce any remaining need for financing of the total anticipated construction costs of approximately $5.6 million.
CCS friends may donate online or send a contribution of any amount to Cypress Christian School, 11123 Cypress N. Houston Rd., Houston, TX, 77065.
