Flapjacks for Fuel

Pancakes and juice will be served at 7:30 am on race day in the Elementary Lunchroom for all elementary students. Students report to class after eating.

Volunteer Information

Pre Race Volunteers	Volunteers need to be in the classroom 35 minutes prior to the race to help safety pin on the bib number to the front of the students shirt and to attach the electronic timing tag to the students shoes. Each student will have a Ziploc bag with their name on it that includes a bib number, safety pins, timing chip and zip tie.
Water Station Volunteers	Volunteers will need to be located on the visitor side of the track 5 minutes prior to the start of the race. There will be two tables set up where volunteers will fill water cups and hand them out to the runners as they pass by. We will have trash cans on the track but volunteers will need to help with periodic cleanup of the cups.
Finish Line Volunteers	Volunteers need to report to the finish line (located in front of the grandstand) 10 minutes prior to the end of the race. As runners finish they will be corralled into an area where we will cut off their timing chip, put a medal on their neck, give them bottle of Gatorade and snacks. A good number of runners will finish at the same time so we need the most volunteers at the finish line.

Concession Stand

Runners will be given a snack and Gatorade after the race. The concession stand will be open with additional snack foods for both students and parents to purchase.

Attire

2012 Tribal Game t-shirt and shorts should be worn. Short length should conform to dress code policy. Athletic shoes (tie or Velcro) are required to participate.
