Young Poets

First grade students in Mrs. Van Pelt’s class participated in a poetry contest for "Creative Communication." Each student wrote an original poem by themselves which was submitted to the publisher. All students did an incredible job.  Hundreds of entries were submitted from all over the United States and SIX were chosen from Cypress Christian to be published in this year’s book. Needless to say we are extremely proud of all the students and of the following students whose poem will be published:
