Jacob Spenn
November 22, 2011
The Warriors jumped out to an early lead as they scored on the third play from scrimmage. The first touchdown was set up by a 70 yard swing pass from Ben Mitchell to Jason Groll. The scoring did not stop there, as they scored on all five first half possessions to take a 35 to 0 lead into the locker room at half time. One of the best catches of the season resulted in the 4th score of the game as Andrew Galloway went up over the TSD defender to pull in a 58 yard TD catch. Jake Borkovich brook free on an inside reverse for a 32 yard TD run. Mitchell and Groll combined for three more scores on the ground.
The Warriors racked up over 400 yards of offense and limited the Rangers to less than 100. The defense was once again very solid. The Warriors will now face Brook Hill in the State Semi-Finals on Saturday, November 26 in Buffalo, Texas at 1PM. Click here for more stats.
