Warrior Golfers Take Third in State Championships

The Warrior Golf Team finished 3rd in State.  At the end of the two-day event, we were tied for 3rd place with Dallas Shelton.  The tie-break was the 5th place scorer for each team.  CCS's Timothy Magstadt turned in a better score than Shelton's 5th place scorer, thus giving the Warriors the win.  Ben Mitchell finished 7th individually, which earned him All-State honors for the third year in a row.  David Hurst made the Academic All-State Team.  Nice way to end the 2011 season, Warrior golfers!
