Varsity Volleyball Defeats Duchesne

The Varsity Lady Warrior VB team took their 1-1 non-district record to Duchesne Academy on August 31. The 2009 3A District 7 runner-ups cruised to a 3-0 victory over the overwhelmed and out-gunned Lady Chargers. The Lady Warrior pin-point serving and timely hitting was key to the victory as they now take their 2-1 record to Galveston O'Connell to face the non-district Lady Bucaneers on Sept 2. The next home game will be Tuesday, Sept 7 vs an always tough District 8 rival, Bay Area Christian for a tune up before district play on Thursday, Sept 9 vs The Woodlands Christian Academy. Go Warriors...C-C-S ahhhh - woop!!
