Varsity Boys Basketball Preparing for Post-Season Play
February 2, 2012
High school boys' basketball moves in to post-season play with excitement and anticipation with a strong team this year. The boys are tied for third in a rather strong district (which includes last year’s State Champ). They are currently tied for third place in district and will be battling it out in post-season play beginning February 13. This Friday night is senior night against SATCH and then Warriors will host the defending state champion in Woodlands Christian for the last district game on Tuesday, February 7. Click here to view the full schedule and past results. We are excited to see the outcome for our varsity team and their Head Coach Craig Cleveland.
The JV program had a successful season as they played hard against big opponents and prepared themselves to step up to the varsity level. They improved each week and we are anxious to see them ready to move up next year. Thanks to Coach Jim Davis for leading the JV team and assisting with the Varsity team. Great job, coaches and players!
