Prayer around the Flagpoles
September 27, 2011
Students, teachers and parents gathered around the flagpoles before school on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, for a time of student-led prayer and worship. They were among thousands all over the world who met together to pray for schools, cities, nations, and our world.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6.
See You at the Pole is a student-initiated and student-led movement that began in Texas in 1990 that encourages fellow students to gather around their school flagpoles once a year to pray for others.
