Operation Christmas Child Chapel

Elementary students enjoyed a special chapel service on Friday, September 21, with guest speaker Luba Travis. As a young orphaned child, Miss Travis received a shoe box full of gifts such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a slinky from the Operation Christmas Child project sponsored by the Samaritan's Purse organization. Through this ministry, she came to know Jesus as her Savior. Miss Travis is now a college student in California and speaks to groups to help promote this ministry.

Each year, our elementary students take part in this important worldwide project. On October 4, students will kick off the 2012 Operation Christmas Child campaign.  More information on how students can help prepare a shoe box will be sent home at that time.
