Playing with a Purpose

As our MS softball season begins we realize we have big shoes to fill. Although winning the game is determined by who scores the most runs, our MS program chooses to define winning differently. Do not get me wrong, we love to win, but winning is not our end goal. The final questions asked after our games are: Did you learn something new? Did you give it your all? Did you have fun? Refuse to lose sight of your purpose, which is to bring glory to God and be a light to others. We realize in the moment of the game these very things our program is built upon are easily compromised, but we strive for the greater goal. Way to go girls on your first game. Not only did you have fun, but you were good sports as well!
