At the conclusion of the TAPPS 3A-7 District Meet Thursday, the Lady Warriors found themselves in first place with a 20-point lead over the second place team.  Our boys won third place honors after a heart-breaking baton drop in the 4x100m relay.  However, the most exciting news is 21 athletes qualified for the Regional Meet, which is the most ever!  We also qualified in more events than in seasons past.  It's time for shouts and praises to God for honoring our team and our school with a great meet and huge success!

We are very proud of everyone who competed but fell just short of the trip to Regionals.  We have a very young team and a great foundation has been laid for future teams.  Our goal is always for everyone to do their best and improve at every meet.  We definitely exceeded our goal as most athletes set personal bests throughout the season.  Congratulations to the entire Track & Field Team!

The Regional Meet is Thursday, April 28, in Hallettsville.  The top four finishers in each event will qualify for State, which is held May 6-7 at Baylor University.
