Lady Warriors VB Headed to Bi-District Playoffs

The Lady Warriors gave a hard fight in their last home game of the season against Bryan Brazos Christian. Bryan Brazos is one of the strongest teams in our district, and our Lady Warriors AIMed high last Tuesday. The Lady Warriors on JV battled it out and pulled out a win against an evenly matched team in three games. The Lady Warriors on varsity accepted the call to action to play their best game for this last home game. They showed improvement in reaching both mental and physical potential on the court by closing the gap and keeping the score competitive.  They met the challenge of playing the toughest team in district and playing them well with determination. And, they strived to move past the past failure of loss to Bryan Brazos to press forward to show strength and perseverance in a battle to the finish. Our Lady Warriors showed their Warrior pride by playing their best game of the season. Although they fell short of a win, they AIMed high and reached their goal!  Now the Varsity team is headed to the first round of playoffs in a Bi-District game in Austin, TX, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
