Lady Warriors Bring Passing Game to New Level
October 2, 2012
The Lady Warriors claimed a victory over the Rosehill Lady Eagles on Monday, October 1. If you missed this game, then you missed out! Although the games were not nail-bitingly close, our Lady Warriors played hard and executed plays with very little error. Our Lady Warriors were led by Seniors Shannen Longridge who had 11 kills, 1 ace, and 10 digs and Alyssa Beach who had 5 aces and 12 digs. Freshman Kallie Rhea had a fantastic game with 7 kills and 2 digs. In a last minute coaching decision, Olivia Roberts stepped into the middle position and dominated the net with 4 blocks and 4 kills. Every member of the team contributed essential parts to each and every play. “Every kill starts with a good pass, and the Lady Warriors brought their passing game to a whole new level!” stated Coach Campbell in an after game interview, “I am very proud of each one of the girls. Everyone is making huge contributions to the team.”
