JV Volleyball Improves to 2-0

Last night the JV Warrior volleyball team “rounded up” the Chargers from Duchesne with another come-from behind victory. Game #1 was exciting with Duchesne taking the first game in “overtime play” with a close 27 to 25 victory. Coach Emily Hill made some adjustments; and co-captains Katie Moore and Alyssa Beach answered the call by putting together a string of serving points to help lead the Warriors to a solid victory in game #2. This set up a decisive game #3. The JV girls slammed the gate on the Chargers with solid performances from Katie Moore, Alyssa Beach, Amelia Tidwell and Olivia Roberts. There were some courageous “digs” from Sarah Mason, an intimidating net presence from Lauren Davis, and a solid serving performance from Taylor Farris to help seal the deal! Come out and support our JV team now 2-0 under their new Head Coach Emily Hill and cheer them on at home next Tuesday against Bay Area Christian.
