Homecoming 2012
October 24, 2012
CCS Homecoming! It’s one of our favorite times of the year! This year's theme was "MISSION POSSIBLE” based on Isaiah 6:8: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” It was a fun event as we united together as a school to promote school spirit, honor the Lord, welcome back our alumni, and have fun!
Colors and Characters
These two words - Colors and Characters - described the themed dress-up days during homecoming week. We hope you enjoy the pictures of our CCS students and faculty members who participated in Tacky Tourist Day, Colors Day, Sports Day, Super-Heroes Day, and Blue and White Day.
Powder Puff Football Game: The freshmen and junior ladies challenged the sophomore and senior ladies to a game of Powder Puff Football with some coaching help from some of the Warrior football players. Fun was had by all. Click here to view highlights from the 12-6 Junior/Freshman victory.
Homecoming Day
The CCS campus was alive with school spirit. Students enjoyed decorating the campus and their parade floats, as well as showing their support for the Warriors by wearing blue and white. CCS students, faculty, and fans enjoyed the fun day which included the annual parade, a fun and noisy pep rally in Warrior Stadium, great food and tailgating, fellowship with returning alumni and families, and a Warrior victory!

Warrior Victory
One of the largest crowds in school history was on hand to see the Warriors collect their first district win. Cypress exploded for 26 points in the second quarter as Andrew Wilson connected on three touchdown passes. Click here to read more including highlights and pictures.
