First Scrimmages

The Warriors took the field at both levels for scrimmages this week.  The varsity hosted Lutheran North while the middle school hosted First Baptist Academy.  Both teams were able to do some good things against which is always exciting to see early in the season.  It was only the second day in full pads for the middle school so it was certainly an early test.  The varsity was able to find the end zone several times and did a good job of containing a pair of great running backs from Lutheran North.  The varsity will travel to Fort Bend Baptist next week for its second scrimmage.  This scrimmage will be played on a brand new turf field and the Warriors will wear their new uniforms for the first time.
