Elementary Rodeo Art Winners

Elementary art students competed in the Private and Christian School District area of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Contest made up of 60 private and Christian schools. 

Congratulations to this year's winners:

Third Grade Winners: Caroline Olenick – Blue Ribbon

Fourth Grade Winners:  Aubri Garrett – Blue Ribbon, Marc Coates – Red Ribbon, Lauren Crowhurst – Red Ribbon

Fifth Grade Winners:  Sophia Slabic – Blue Ribbon, Harley Byrne – Blue Ribbon, Garrett Velez – Blue Ribbon

Finalist (Black Ribbon):   4th grader Maddie Beckmeier's artwork was considered for the top three awards.

Gold Medalist (one of the top three awards given in the Elementary Division):  Congratulations to fourth grader Katie Bretz whose artwork will be displayed in the Hayloft Gallery at the 2012 Houston Livestock and Rodeo. She will also be competing against the winners from the area public school districts.

All of these artworks, except Katie Bretz’s, is on display in the Elementary Building.
