Crown Book Celebration

Congratulations to these students for their diligence in reading the books on the Crown Book list. All agreed that the books were worth the effort! Our principal, Mr. White, joined the group and was crowned "King of the Crown Book Party."
After months of independent reading, fourth grade students were invited to attend the "Crown Book Award Party." In order to qualify, students had to read ten books from the Crown Award list with at least two of them being chapter books. Students brought their lunch and other snacks to share with the group. There was no shortage of sweets for this royal party! Our principal, Mr. White, even joined us for a photo - officially reigning as the King of the Crown Book Party.
