Choir Student Earns Place in Regional Treble Choir

On October 14, 2011, CCS freshman, Dana Mickey, competed in the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) annual All-State Choir Competition with approximately 120 sopranos in her division. This was a very intense competition, as she competed not only with other sopranos at her level, but also with all upper-class women in the entire greater Houston area. She placed 37th, which made her eligible for the Regional Treble Choir which will meet in Addison, TX for the annual clinic and concert on the first weekend in January.

We are thrilled for Dana to make such a great accomplishment in her freshman year, and excited that she is the first CCS student to ever represent our school in this organization.
