B Team Finishes Season With a Win

The B team season came to a close on Tuesday on a rain soaked field at CCS.  The young Warriors were still able to complete passes and had some big runs in route to a 20-0 victory.  Middle School players always make a tremendous amount of progress during the season and this team is no exception. Many players were getting the opportunity to play football for the first time.  In the final huddle of the B team season Coach Spenn asked the players if they had fun.  The answer was resounding yes.  This answer came after players slid through the mud and endured standing water on the sidelines. What could be a better example of middle school boys. It was a great season in so many ways, and I am sure stories will be told for years to come.

B team players still have two more games with the A team before the middle school season is completely over.  The final game will be at home against Bay Area on Thursday, October 25 at 5pm.
