Alumni Spotlight

Allie Borkovich ('08)
"I am officially a member of the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston's School of Medicine Class of 2016!!!  I will graduate from Texas A&M this May and start UTMB in August. At this point, my long-term goal is still pediatrics, which is a type of residency I hope to pursue after medical school. I am so humbled by this opportunity and look forward to what the Lord has planned for these next four years. So many wonderful people at Cypress Christian have been extremely supportive and encouraging throughout this entire process. From my first two Chemistry classes to dual credit English and Mr. Brown's calculus, my CCS education has been a solid foundation which Texas A&M built upon. The Lord is flinging doors open as only He can, and I am made fully aware of HIS power in us. To God be the glory! Our God is ABLE!"  2 Samuel 22 -  "It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect...You stoop down to make me great."

Fun Facts:  1. Allie's mom is a third grade teacher at CCS.  2. Allie recently spoke to CCS 8th graders about what it's like in high school at CCS!  Click here for article and photos.
