Paving the Way was the theme for the 2011 Annual Banquet. It was a tremendous celebration of the work God has been doing at CCS and an inspiration to support the work that is ahead. Thirty four years ago, a group of Christian men and women paved the way for us today by starting a small school with just a few students. Today, that school has increased to serve hundreds of students and is still thriving and growing.
Our Head of School, Stephen Novotny, had this to say about the evening:
“What a wonderful evening we all had at this year’s Annual Banquet. Everyone that came really enjoyed listening to some great musical selections from our choirs, laughing with Dennis Lee, hearing from alumnus Ryan Moon, and being inspired by Dr. John Bisagno’s keynote address. The generosity of those giving towards Annual Fund at the banquet was very strong. In fact, the school now anticipates being able to move forward earlier than normal this year on infrastructure improvement projects that allow us to grow in our capacity to serve children. In short, we thank God for a wonderful banquet this fall.”
Thank you to so many of you that gave and continue to give to pave the way for Cypress Christian School to provide students an education of academic excellence and biblical values so that they can impact their culture for Christ. We are rapidly closing in on this year’s Annual Fund goal of $200,000. If you have not yet had the opportunity to be part of this great story, there is still time. As we continue to grow in our capacity and ability to serve students, there will always be needs and ways that you can help. You can give online, or learn more about Cypress Christian by attending a Warrior Welcome, an inspiring one hour tour of the mission of Cypress Christian School.
