What's Happening
CCS will hold its annual High School Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 24, at 7 p.m. at Cypress Bible Church in the Worship Center.
College grads, moms and dads, newlyweds, interns, evangelists, and leaders describe the alumni featured in this month's newsletter. Enjoy reading how God is working in the lives of these young adults.
ASL students enjoyed making art pieces to relay some very special messages using sign language.
The audience was treated to a classic choral repertoire including TAPPS State Finalist music, as well as to modern and pop music. To end the evening, the choir paid tribute to fallen Warrior Travis Chaffin by singing one of his favorite worship songs.
Construction on new weight room and remodeling of the Field House has begun.
The Lady Warrior Softball Team finished a record setting year as Regional Champions.
NJHS students worked tirelessly to collect books for a K-8th grade school in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
Students researched topics ranging from Galileo to the Hubble Telescope to Saturn’s rings.

After studying the life of Booker T. Washington, students were privileged to hear Mr. Frantzy Thenor, father of second grader Mason Thenor, tell about his college experience at Tuskegee.
Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Fisk for their help in providing a hands on learning experience for CODE BLUE.
Students were organized into "medical clinics" using Psalm 139:14-16 as their biblical basis. They were assigned a specialty such as Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist, Pulmonologist, Orthopedic Surgeon, Neurologist or Infection Disease Specialist.
Eighth graders and their chaperones enjoyed five days of exploring the Washington, D.C. area.
Over 100 elementary kids came out to the football field last Friday to have some fun and learn some football.
Travis was a junior at CCS, a great friend to his classmates, an excellent student, a standout member of the baseball team, and a godly role model.
