Coaching Philosophy

It is a great honor to be able to combine the athletic ability given by God and the training that is received to play a game that we enjoy. It is our desire to help each player grow as an individual. We want our team to be spiritually, physically, and mentally fit. Our goal is to encourage and support our girls to excel in all areas of their lives. We look at our team as a family.

Each member has her own gifts, personalities, strengths and weaknesses. We are sisters in Christ and thus are drawn together by our mutual passions for our Lord and Savior as well as our passion for the game of soccer. It is our objective to keep our team Christ centered as they train to play the game to the best of their ability and learn to work cooperatively as one on and off the field.

My desire is to build a team that is a powerful force not only in soccer but in allowing anyone who comes into contact with them to experience the love of Christ through their interaction with them. The Varsity Girls soccer team trains to play for an audience of One. We train for that purpose above all, to please Jesus.
