Off Season Workouts

One of our core values is commitment and one of the best ways to see that is through participation in our off season workouts. Character has been defined as how you act when you think no one is watching. Commitment is similar in that it can best be seen when the work is hard and the rewards of a Friday night are a long ways off.

Off season workouts are not required to be on the football team but they are essential for your son to be the best football player that he can be. They will also help to prevent injuries.  The injury rate for the kids that show up all summer is significantly lower than those that do not.

Our summer workout program consists of 30 workouts plus eight days of 7 on 7,  and one maybe two 7 on 7 Tournament.

Cypress Christian Mini Warrior Football Camps

June 25 and 26 from 9:30 to 11:30am
Cost-$25 includes a camp shirt
Boy and Girls entering grades 1-5

The camp is open to both boys and girls and will teach basic skills and a general understand of the game of football. If your son or daughter had a great time at the Football Fun Day for Elementary back in May than they will love this two day camp. The campers will move through several stations teaching basic principles each day and will be grouped by age and ability so they are taught age appropriate skills at those stations. It is a non contact camp but the kids will learn the right way to tackle against foam pads, how to throw and catch a football, the basic positions on the field, and have a lot of fun competing in football obstacle courses and other competitions. The camp will be run by coaches from the Cypress Christian Football coaching staff and select varsity players.
