Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day for K-5 Students

Each year, CCS hosts Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day for elementary students. On Wednesday, February 8, CCS welcomed 350 grandparents and special friends onto our campus. Our elementary students were excited to share their school and some classroom activities with their honored guests. Some visitors came from distant states and as far away as Egypt and Columbia! Following a chapel service in which students performed songs and administrators shared brief messages, the grandparents and special friends enjoyed a cookie reception and photos with their young hosts. The guests then took part in a Warrior Welcome tour of the mission of the school.
