Five students from Ms. Lazar’s seventh-grade class won the honor of visiting the Lanier Chapel and Library this week. Avery Connelly, Anya Hull, Cheyenne King, David Romero and Amanda Taylor met the challenge of reading the most books this semester. Accompanied by their teacher, Ms. Lazar, and the CCS librarian, Mrs. Mitton, the students were treated to a magnificent tour and explanation of the Lanier Stone Chapel and the beautiful Lanier Library. The library contains many original Christian artifacts, including the original Tyndale Bible from 1536 and fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Lanier Library is open to the public, and is well worth a visit.
