Great Day Houston welcomed CCS Junior, Koedi Nealy and 16 CCS students who are Graced Ministry Ambassadors and their parents to a live taping on November 1. Koedi began collecting pennies, which are easily cast aside, to provide everyday essentials for the homeless. Following the direction God was leading her, Koedi founded Graced Ministry when she was 13 years old to touch the lives of those who are discarded, broken, forgotten and overlooked. Recently, she has implemented the Graced Ambassador Program to mentor others who want to be servant leaders themselves.
The first guests appearing on GDH were New York Times best-selling authors of The Godwink Series, Squire Rushnell and Louise DuArt. Their book, Godwink Christmas, tells 21 brand-new and nine classic true-life stories of extraordinary “Godwinks” at Christmastime, proving that what some thought was “coincidence” wasn't coincidence at all, but a supernatural “hotline” from God.
Host Debroah Duncan invited Koedi to speak about Graced Ministry on camera! If that wasn’t exciting enough, Rushnell jumped right in to support Koedi and her ministry. He invited her to stay in contact to collaborate with her to share her story. Talk about a Godwink!
Graced Ministry raises money and awareness for the homeless in our community. Providing scholarships for students to attend summer church camp is a second area of philanthropy. Ambassadors share in fellowship together, prepare for and execute events, sort items and create Graced Packs, count pennies and serve in outreach to the homeless. Koedi is always looking for new ambassadors! Contact Graced Ministry GracedMinistry.org if you’d like to be considered for a position as an Ambassador.
Tune in to Hallmark Channel for A Godwink Christmas, Meant for Love this Saturday, November 23.
