MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Cypress Christian School is to equip students to engage and impact their world for Jesus Christ.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
We believe:
- That the Bible is God's inerrant Word in the original manuscripts and the only authority for doctrine and practice.
- In the Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- That salvation is a free gift, paid for by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ for all who trust Him as their Savior.
- In John 14:6, which states: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'"
- In the literal resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and in the same resurrection to eternal life for all who are saved, while the unsaved will spend eternity in hell.
- In the literal return of Jesus Christ.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT
Employees with school-aged children are expected to enroll those students in CCS. Exceptions may be made for students with special educational needs. Employee tuition discounts are available for full-time and part-time employees.
LIFESTYLE STATEMENT
Employees of Cypress Christian School will maintain a lifestyle based on biblical standards of conduct, including being a member in good standing of an evangelical church and leading a mature Christian life. It is the goal of CCS that each employee will have a lifestyle where "...He might have the pre-eminence." (Colossians 1:18) Personnel will conduct themselves in a way that will not raise questions regarding their Christian testimonies. A Christian lifestyle should reflect the biblical perspective of integrity and of appropriate personal and family relationships, business conduct, and moral behavior. An employee is expected to demonstrate a teachable spirit, an ability to share love for others, a willingness to live contentedly under authority, and a commitment to follow the Matthew 18 principle when an issue arises with fellow employees or management.
