State 2007 News:

The Warriors are preparing for State once more as they beat Baytown Christian at Regional Sturday, Feb. 24.  State this year is back at the University of Texas, Tyler.  The boys will play their Semi-final game on Friday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m.   The Championship game is Saturdary, March 3, at 7:00 p.m.  See you in Tyler at the games.

4A 2006 State Champions!

4A 2005 State Champions! The Warriors played hard from beginning to the end of the State Championship game February 26, against a tough opponent in Lubbock Trinity Christian.  The lead changed hands several times throughout the course of the game, and literally went down to the wire as CCS threw the ball in from the sidelines and then another quick pass to freshman Ryan Baker for the last-second shot which gave Cypress the victory!  That's the way a championship game should be.  Way to go Warriors!  It was a fitting end to a great season.

     Coach McClanahan now has a 3A State Championship in 2003 and a 4A State Championship in 2005.  What's ahead for the Warriors?  Join us in October as we begin the trek to the State Final Four.

Boys Earn title of DISTRICT CHAMPIONS once again with an 8-0 district record.  The Bi-District title now belongs to the Warriors as they soared past Cornerstone, San Antonio on Saturday 70-34. The next step is Saturday, Feb. 18,Regional at Temple College in Temple, for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off againstnone other than Galveston O'Connell Consolidated.  Be there to support them as they earn their way to State at Mansfield High School Feb. 25-26.  See you at the games!
