Leadership Team



The Leadership Team works together to pursue excellence in all areas of the school. The Board of Directors sets the educational and business policies of the school and the school's Head Administrator executes these policies while supervising the faculty and staff.

Head of School/Secondary Principal - Dr. Glenn Holzman has several decades of administrative experience in Christian education.   Dr. Holzman and his wife Judy have two grown children.  His heart for ministry and his academic credentials (shown below) are an asset to the school.

Elementary School PrincipalMrs. Donna Stumbaugh has committed her time, talents, and energy during the last twelve years to minister to students, parents and teachers at Cypress Christian School.  Her proven experience in curriculum development and improvement as well as her extraordinary organizational and leadership skills allow her to join the administrative team this year to fulfill the mission of CCS.  Mrs. Stumbaugh is unquestionably dedicated to Christian education.  She understands that Christian education is an opportunity to instill Christian values through the use of scripture.  She is committed to the ideal that teachers are living examples of who Christ is, as they teach about God's world through God's word.

Athletic Director -  Marsha Martin has built an award-winning program at CCS that includes all major sports.  She is a graduate of Lamar University, class of 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Education, double majors in Physical Education and Health Education, Mrs. Martin has taught for 16 years, just completing 9 years at CCS, with the last 8  years as AD.  Her experience also includes Youth and Recreation Ministry in churches for 10 years.  

Admissions Director - Angie Ramirez is new to the team and very enthusiastic about her new position.  "I am passionate about our school.  It is my heart's desire to walk families through the admissions process as one who understands how precious our little ones are to us."  Angie and her husband have three children and believe CCS is the best place to plant seeds of academic and spiritual excellence in the hearts and minds of children.

Administrative Assistant - Jean Hazel has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown.  She previously taught art at an international school in Cameroon, West Africa, and she worked as a substitute teacher at Jubail Academy in Saudi Arabia.  Her long association with CCS as a parent and a substitute now serves her well as Administrative Assistant to the Head of School.

Business Manager - Donna Rhodes - Since coming to CCS in 1998, Mrs. Rhodes has used her vast experience and education to manage the school finances.  She received a BBA–Finance from University of Houston; has worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 9 years public accounting experience, 7 of which were auditing public schools and not-for-profit entities.  Mrs. Rhodes is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with 3 years internal audit experience with 4 years general accounting experience.
