Listed below are required reading lists for the summer of 2008 for students in grades 6-12.  The required novel will be discussed the first nine weeks in class.  An informal written summary of each chapter will help you be prepared to discuss the novel in class.  Please note that at some grade levels, the teacher has also listed some optional reading material that you might enjoy reading.
